Welcome to our big sister group's page! G.E.M.S. (Girls Empowered by Morals and Standards) focuses on the positive development of girls between the ages of 13 and 17. This program was created by our founder Adriane Simmons in 2006. The misson of G.E.M.S is to provide teen girls with a positive and well rounded outlook on life. We accomplish this by involving our members in volunteer and social activites, developmental workshops,fundraising events and an annual trip that focuses on leadership and responsibility.
We also offer volunteer opportunities to those who feel that they can have a positive impact on the life of a teen. The members of our organization are firm believers that "It takes a Village to Raise a Child".
