Launched in September 2008, Jewels was created to enrich and empower the lives of young girls between the ages of 9-12.
Modeled after the successful G.E.M.S (Girls Empowered By Morals and Standards) program we seek to provide a positive and nurturing environment for young girls as they grow into G.E.M.S. Browse through our site and check out our upcoming events section.

We are excited about a new partnership with EMGirls a new online empowerment community just for teen girls ages 12-18 that is designed to be the next facebook/myspace but with the focus on empowerment. Jewels co-founder Kara Norman has been selected to facilitate and moderate this new community!
Check out another one of our partner's Afro Puffs and Pony Tails, a wonderful new organization that seeks to recognize, appreciate and positively represent African American Girls! Please support this wonderful new organization who is seeking to recognize girls everywhere!
